SugarCRM Admin Controls: Role Management
The Role Management allows the admin to set few roles which can be assigned to individual user. There are different roles like Sales, Marketing, Production and HR. Based on their roles they have certain limitations over the information that is uploaded in SugarCRM. The admin can set those roles and then assign them to the respective user.
To create the roles follow the simple steps below and get going:
1.Login as admin and then open the Admin panel on which is on the top right.

2.Then you can see the all the Admin controls there. Click on the Role Management. When you click on Create Role then it opens two panel window in which you can give the name of the Role and a small description also.


3.The next panel is very important as it is the main panel which have all the parameters to set the roles.
4.Select the appropriate value which you want to set for that particular role and save it.

You can change the values by double clicking on the values and set them to All, Owner or None.
5.Now through the user management you can assign these roles to the respective users.
