After installing SugarCRM successfully on your system when you login as the admin then the application will navigate you to Home page. On this page you can see all the information you fill in. You can see user controls on the left of the page with the name of the user this will remain on every module.

Tab section will also be on all the pages.

On the left side you can see the Shortcuts block which helps in creating the Contacts, Accounts, Leads, Opportunity, Case, Reporting a Bug, Scheduling Meetings and Calls. This block helps in quick navigation to the concerned page to fill in the data.

Below the Shortcuts block you can see the New Contact block. This particular block is used to create a quick contact. Once you fill in the data and click on save it will take you to the Contact page. We will discuss this module in the Contacts module.

On the very right you can see the Calendar of the current month. This helps in creating the appointments and scheduling meetings and calls. We will discuss this elaborately in the Calendar Module.

Now in the middle section you can see many panels like My Upcoming Appointments, My Inbox: Unread Mails, etc. This section is known as the sub panel. It shows the glimpse of the information that you have fill in the application.

My Upcoming Appointments panel helps in reminding the appointments of the day. You can also change the view of this section. You can select from the drop down menu Day view, Week view, Month view. This way one can schedule and manage his appointments very effectively.
