There is Inbound email support in SugarCRM-4.0.

We need to configure it via admin panel.

To configure it follow the steps.

# Login in sugarcrm as admin

# Click Admin from the top-right panel

# In the bottom there is one section “Inbound Email”, click “Manage Mailboxes”

# Fill these information in the form carefully

User Name: Your email address given to you by the mail server like george@openapp.net

Password : Your above email password

Mail Server Address: Your mail server, like openapp.net
Mail Server Protocol: IMAP or POP3

# Click save
